Can I develop the Tanuki XL-1 beyond the "...its light weight and perfect balance" ?
Beyond the Perfect, the Tanuki XL-Sport is built in with counter balance end cap which makes casting the rod more stable. Yes, the counterbalance does add about 20 grams compared to the XL-1.
Tanuki XL-Sport and Tanuki Barebones Kebari (a similar length to the XL-Sport but the rod flex is designed and built for kebari manipulation).
