Tanuki Shinobi 395 Traditional Style Limited Edition.
This is a fantastic rod for contact nymphing with the art of craftmanship.
It is based on MD Robert Worthing's Ultralight Fishing action and input. The ultralight fishing means the rod is designed and built for casting a finer line and small fly.
About the grip: it is a high density EVA, wooden insert, and hand wrapped rattan, made with Toray high modulus carbon fiber as the same as rod blanks the Shinobi carbon handle.
A narrow high density EVA handle help to increase the sensitivity. Sensitivity is very important feature to help fisher to feel a big fish nimble take.
