Tanuki Baresbones Nymphing Pro 380 Pure Carbon Grip. It is an excellent rod for contact nymphing/ Euro-Nymphing for experience tenkara fishers. The rod's length is about 8 inches longer than a version of the Barebones Nymphy Pro 360. An angler would gain more control of the fish with a long rod.
Ultralight fishing means the rod is designed and built for casting a finer line and small fly like a single bead head #18.
About the grip: it is a pure carbon grip made with Toray high modulus carbon fiber, the same as rod blanks. It increases sensitivity.
