Tanuki Baresbones Nymphing Pro 360 Pure Carbon Grip. The rod is an improved version of the rodNote model Tanuki 360 nymphing rod prototypes. There are more than 100 prototypes rod that has tested since 2014. According to the testers, the prototNoteype is the best for a tenkara nymphing rod. The Barebones Nymphing Pro 360 is a slightly stronger backbone for controlling big fish better, and the rod sensitivity is much higher.
The Barebones 360 is an excellent rod for contact nymphing/ Euro-Nymphing.
Ultralight fishing means the rod is designed and built for casting a finer line and small fly like a single bead head #18.
About the grip: it is a pure carbon grip made with Toray high modulus carbon fiber, the same as rod blanks. It increases sensitivity.
